Random Number Generator (1–100, No Repeats, Lottery)

Pick one or many truly random numbers in any range, with or without duplicates. Perfect for giveaways, raffles, classroom picks and games.

?

Quick answer: Enter a minimum and maximum (for example 1 and 100), choose how many numbers you need, tick No repeats if each number may appear only once, and press Generate. Every number in the range has exactly the same chance.

How to pick a random number between 1 and 100

  1. Tap the 1–100 preset, or type your own minimum and maximum. Negative numbers and decimals work too.
  2. Set how many numbers to draw. For a raffle with three winners, enter 3 and tick No repeats.
  3. Press Generate, then Copy all to paste the results into a message, spreadsheet or announcement.

Is this random number generator truly random?

It uses your browser’s cryptographic random source (crypto.getRandomValues) with rejection sampling, so there is no bias toward low or high numbers and results cannot be predicted from earlier ones. That is stronger than the basic Math.random() used by many simple pickers, and fair enough for giveaways, classroom selections and games.

Ideas for using random numbers

  • Giveaway winner picker: number your entries or comments, then draw unique numbers for the winners.
  • Lottery numbers: the 6/49 preset draws six different numbers from 1 to 49. (No tool can improve your odds; every combination is equally likely.)
  • Classroom: pick a student number, a quiz question or a seating order.
  • Games and decisions: roll a dice, flip a coin, or choose a restaurant from a numbered list.
  • Sampling: choose random rows from a spreadsheet for quality checks or surveys.

Frequently asked questions

How do I generate random numbers without repeats?

Tick No repeats (unique). The tool then draws each number at most once, like pulling numbered balls from a bag. The count cannot be larger than the size of the range.

Can I pick a random number between 1 and 10?

Yes. Tap the 1-10 preset or enter 1 and 10, then press Generate.

Is it fair for giveaways?

Yes. Every number in the range has an equal chance, and the cryptographic random source cannot be predicted or influenced.

Can it generate decimal numbers?

Yes. Choose 1, 2 or 3 decimal places to get random decimals within your range.

How many numbers can I generate at once?

Up to 10,000 numbers in one go, which you can copy into Excel or Google Sheets.

Does the tool store my results?

No. Numbers are generated in your browser and are not saved or sent anywhere.
