How to count days between two dates
- Enter the start date and the end date.
- Tick Include the end date if both the first and last day should count, for example for leave or hotel nights versus calendar days.
- Choose your weekend. In Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries the weekend is Friday and Saturday, which changes the number of working days.
- Read the result in days, weeks and days, months and days, and business days.
Common uses
- Visa and residency: count how many days you have stayed or when a 30, 60 or 90-day visa expires.
- Notice periods and contracts: find the last working day of a one-month or 30-day notice period.
- Deadlines and projects: add 10 business days to today for a delivery or reply date.
- Pregnancy and countdowns: count down to a due date, wedding, exam or Eid holiday.
- Payments and invoices: calculate net 30 or net 60 due dates.
How are months added?
Adding months keeps the same day of the month when possible. If that day doesn’t exist, the result moves to the last day of the month: 31 January plus one month is 28 February (or 29 in a leap year). Business days skip the weekend you selected but do not know about public holidays, so subtract those yourself for an exact deadline.

How many days are there between two dates?
Enter both dates in the first tab. The calculator shows the total number of days, plus the same period in weeks, months and business days.
Does the calculator include the end date?
Not by default; it counts the days in between, like most date calculators. Tick Include the end date to add one day.
How do I add 90 days to a date?
Open Add / subtract, choose the start date, enter 90 and choose days. The resulting date and weekday appear instantly.
Can it count working days only?
Yes. The business days result excludes weekends, and you can set the weekend to Saturday-Sunday or Friday-Saturday for Gulf countries.
Does it handle leap years?
Yes. All calculations use the real calendar, including 29 February in leap years.
